Well, 2015 is coming to a close, and it’s almost time for a HAPPY NEW YEAR! The madness of the holidays is almost over. It’s almost time to ring in the New Year with the biggest celebration ever. You may be planning on attending a huge gala event or a party of your own or maybe just sitting back watching television and waiting for the ball to drop in Times Square. No matter what your plans, it’s fun to have a nice bottle of bubbly on hand to celebrate and toast in 2016. Whether you feel like drinking dry or sweet, here are a couple of suggestions.
JaM Cellars Toast Sparkling
Aroma- Honeydew, white peach and orange blossom. Dry with a light, toasty mouth feel.
Domaine d’Orfeuilles Sparkling Demi-Sec
This is very fruity, with a mild sweetness. It’s made from 100-percent Chenin Blanc grapes from the Loire Valley in France.
Charles De Cazanove Vieille France Rose Champagne
This is a delicious and expressive Rose, with a ripe juiciness, spiced cherry notes, and black currant and almond flavors.
Blanc De Bleu Cuvee Mousseux
Aroma- Blueberries, apple and lemon. On the palate, it’s fresh dry and elegant.
As we say goodbye 2015 and hello to 2016, I look forward to seeing you all at Nino’s.
