Over the past few months, you may have noticed that something fishy is going on at Nino’s.
While we’ve always been proud of our extensive selection of fish and seafood products, we’re always looking for opportunities to provide customers with even more.
So from February through March of this year (ironically, during the Zodiac sign of Pisces—the fish), Nino’s Seafood Department experts began to travel extensively throughout Michigan, Chicago and Boston to investigate new opportunities, create new vendor relationships and bring new products to our Marketplace Fishery counters and to your dinner table at home.
We’ve already introduced many of these programs and products, with even more yet to come.
Among the newest fish varieties we’ve recently introduced into our fish case are Bakkafrost Scottish Salmon, Indian Brook Trout, Pacific Halibut Cheeks, and Copper River Salmon, and you can look forward to many more fresh choices coming soon.
We’re also giving you more information to make your fish choices, including which fish are wild or line caught, their country of origin, which fish are fresh/never frozen and NEW recipes showing you some of the delicious ways our new fish varieties can be prepared.
Even better, while you’re making your selections, be sure to check out my cooking videos that show you just how easy these recipes are to make at home. The recipes are right there on the counter for you, just in case one looks particularly mouthwatering.
