I will never forget my trip to Napa Valley California, in early October of 2010 during crush time (harvest). It was a great experience to see the actual wine making process from the crushing of the grapes to the bottle.

On the first day, we hopped on a limo bus and headed for the vineyards.

We visited so many great wineries, its definitely a trip that any wine lover should take. We met so many fun people on the bus and at the wineries. It’s funny that by the end of the day we all became friends.

Here are some of the wines from the vineyards that we visited.

Peju Cabernet Sauvignon

An absolutely beautiful picture perfect winery located in the Rutherford district of Napa Valley, offering some incredible wines. Like this delicious Cabernet Sauvignon that expresses ripe dark cherry flavors with raspberry and vanilla, ending with a round velvety finish.

Black Stallion Sauvignon Blanc

The Black Stallion winery located in the Oak Knoll district of Napa Valley was once the Silverado Horseman’s Center where they had an indoor riding track a breeding facility and an outdoor arena. The Black Stallion Sauvignon Blanc was definitely one of my favorites. When I put my nose in the glass I could instantly smell the aroma of passion fruit, the taste has a hint of peach, lemon, and kiwi.

Reminiscing about this trip, brings back such found memories and how much fun we had. It’s definitely on my radar to visit again real soon.
