Happy 2016, everyone! Today, beer is such a huge deal! At Nino’s, our guests love their beer. They love it so much that a couple of years ago I decided to expand the beer department and cut out some of the wine shelves. I must admit, it does get pretty overwhelming trying to keep up with all the new beer trends and new breweries popping up left and right. Here at Nino’s, we try to do our best for our guests and let them know all the new and upcoming varieties we have. No matter what the season of the year, our guests love to pick up their favorites. Whether it be a heavy stout, a fruit beer or just a regular IPA. Here are a couple of the popular varieties we have.

Atwater Vanilla Java Porter 6 Pack – $9.99+ deposit:

An English-style porter with added vanilla and coffee. In other words, it’s dessert in a bottle. With its rich and creamy taste, who needs dessert? The brewery is located in the heart of Detroit, in the historic River District.

Bell’s Two Hearted Ale 6 Pack – $10.99+ deposit:

From Kalamazoo, Michigan, this is the most popular IPA we carry. It’s intense and well hopped with grapefruit and pine flavors.

Wells Sticky Toffee Pudding Ale 4 Pack – $9.99+ deposit:

From across the pond in Bedford, England, using traditional English desserts. Here you have a rich and full-flavored pale ale with added malt and molasses. On the palate I get a hint of toffee and caramel. Not too over the top with sweetness and ending with a slight bitterness on the finish.

Griffin Claw Variety 16 Pack – Reg $29.99 now $27.99+ deposit:

Located in Birmingham, Michigan, this cool 16 pack contains four cool varieties, including Platinum Blonde Lager–clean and refreshing; Norm’s Raggedy Ass IPA–piney and brimming with citrus; Mr. Blue Sky American Wheat–crisp and refreshing; and El Rojo Red Ale–rich and toasty.
