3 Simple Drink Ideas for Football’s Biggest Game of the Year
By Simone Petersen
Let’s get the Party started!!! The biggest football game of the year is here … featuring the Philadelphia Chiefs and the Kansas City Eagles. I always have so much fun getting together with family and friends watching the game while consuming delicious food and drinking my favorite Cocktails, but mostly I enjoy the halftime show, which has Rihanna performing this year. Pretty much the reason I watch the game is for the halftime entertainment and of course the cool commercials. 😊
Of course, Super Sunday wouldn’t be a Super Party without your favorite cold brew or cocktail.
Here are a couple of drink ideas to get your party started:
Fourth Quarter Party Punch
¼ cup Campari
¼ cup Gin
¼ cup orange juice
¼ cup IPA beer
1 orange sliced for garnish.
In a glass pitcher combine ice, Campari, gin, orange juice and stir. Pour the IPA over the top and serve immediately.
Beer Margaritas
1 lime cut into 8 wedges.
1 12oz bottle of beer
¼ cup coarse salt
½ cup limeade
½ cup Tequila
Ice cubes
In a blender combine ice, beer, limeade and Tequila. Rub the lime wedges around the rims of four margarita glasses and dip rims into the salt. Pour the mixture in to the glass and garnish with the remaining lime wedges.
Founders All Day IPA 15 Pack
Today’s game wouldn’t be the same without a nice refreshing cold brew. Why not try a fifteen pack of Founders All Day IPA brewed right here in Michigan. This beer is brewed with complexity and it is well balanced, not too heavy, clean, fresh and full of flavor. You could drink this all day.
Whether it’s beer margaritas or another choice, have fun and please be safe.
Cheers,
Simone
