3 Easy and Tasty Drinks for Your Annual Mexican Celebration
Cinco de Mayo is a celebration every 5th of May, to observe the battle of Puebla, when the Mexican Army claimed victory with French forces in 1862. Although not a federal holiday, it is celebrated every year in the United States and somewhat in Mexico (but not as much as most of us think). It is also a great excuse to either throw a party or invite yourself to one.
Here are a few drink ideas if you feel like celebrating.
Lolea White Sangria Recipe
This recipe is very easy with not too much preparation and tastes amazing if you like a little sweetness.
Pour half of a bottle of Lolea white sangria into a pitcher and fill the other half with pineapple juice add ½ cup of coconut rum with chopped pineapple and cherries, mix it up and serve over ice.
Lemon Lime Basil Margarita
In a shaker combine
2oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
1oz Lime juice
2oz simple syrup
1 ½ oz Tequila Blanco
2 to 3 Basil leaves
1 oz Triple sec
Edge the rim of a Margarita glass with sea salt and sugar.
