Nino's All Beef Taco Meat

Whether used in Tacos or Taco Salad, you may just want to have some stashed away in your freezer for those late night Tex-Mex cravings. It's easily reheated and can also be used as a garnish in soups, in dips or as a topping on snacks.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Canola Oil
- 1 cup Spanish Onion
- 1⁄2 cup Fresh Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic Cloves
- 2 1⁄2 lbs. Ground Beef
- 2 Tbsp. Ground Cumin
- 4 Tbsp. Chili Powder
- 1⁄4 tsp. Ground Cayenne Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Tomato Paste
- 2 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1⁄2 Tbsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Granulated Garlic
- 1⁄4 cup Water
- 1 tsp. Crushed Dry Oregano
Instructions
- Heat oil in pan and saute onion, garlic and green peppers until transparent.
- Add beef and brown well.
- Add all remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes.
