Cook for 1 and Be Done!

Come see what’s cooking at Nino’s as we team up with JackMeetsJane to celebrate National Singles Week.  On Wednesday, September 21, I’ll be sharing some secrets of how to “Cook for 1 and Be Done” at our Clinton Twp store.  Included in the evening will be recipes and wine & food sampling.  This entertaining evening will run from 6:30 – 9:00PM. This event is co-sponsored by JackMeetsJane, a local singles meet-up group.   Angela & Susan, the group’s co-founders, will be in attendance in the event you wish to join this group.  They will also be signing copies of their new book, “Dating, Get it Right Jack…and Jane!”

Terrific idea! Where do you reserve your spot?

It’s free…just show up Christina…but get there early….lets say 6:30Pm on Wednesday, Sept. 21st…the Clinton Store.

I’m out of town that night but would like the info…Is there a cookbook I can purchase? Or a repeat session scheduled? Thanks….Kay

Kay,
If you are unable to attend you can contact Dena (the Store’s Office Manager) who can get one to you or arrange for you to pick one up on your next shopping trip. Her number is: 586-412-6000.
We’ll miss you.

Pete

Thanks for sharing the great preparation and cooking ideas at the Sept 21 event. Sharing your cat passion was great too…but you didn’t mention what breed of cats you show? Holding other cooking events on Wednesday evenings would be a terrific idea.

Kay,
Contact Dena, the Clinton Store’s Office Manager and ask her to send you a package. She’ll be happy to help you out! The number at that store is (586) 412-6000.

Pam,

I’m very glad you enjoyed the show. We heard some very positive feed back and hope to hold another show in the future. Just when I’m not really sure right now.
As far as my kitties, I have 4. All are Orientals (like Siamese with designer “genes”…lol) 3 are shorthair, one a long hair (kitten).
I’ve show in the 2 largest associations CFA and TICA. My Petie is a Supreme Grand Champion and was the #1 Oriental Shorthair in the world for a time last summer. He’s a gorgeous animal and a real sweetie. He was shown last week in Indianapolis and received an All Breed Best in show in one of his rings…..the kid’s still got it!!
Thanks for asking…

Loved the class, definitely got many pointers that I will use in the future. Any chance of doing a class on easy dishes for camping/picnics, or how about how to cook diet foods/substitutions for high fat items, etc. I’ve never seen a class on African food, is that worth looking into?

Hi Donna and thanks for your comments, I’m really glad you enjoyed the class!! I’ll add you suggestion of class ideas top my list and run a few ideas past the folks here to see which ones might have the broadest interest. Stay tuned!!
