You may not always catch us in the act. Sometimes it’s as simple as a spontaneous smile or a warm greeting, other times; it’s a smart buy and a gorgeous display of JUST what you want, JUST when you want it and at JUST the right price.
And you’ve probably noticed that the store never seems to look quite the same way two visits in a row. That’s not for our benefit, but yours. Our employees enjoy the exercise but, in all honesty, we’re so anxious to have you see what’s new, fresh and a GREAT value that we constantly move things around and fight over the prime real estate to get it in front of you for your consideration…not some day but right away!
You might say we have a sense of urgency about freshness.
We feel pretty passionately about our products. So much so, that we schedule time each week where our management pores over all the items we’re considering bringing into Nino’s. We look, we touch, we taste and we consider the values. Then we decide. Not every item passes the muster….not even the mustards pass the muster sometimes.
We feel that if it doesn’t pass our test, it won’t pass yours.
We’re a locally owned family business, not a big national chain…we’d like to think you count on us to look after things like this…like neighbors.
This is why we created Salvaggio's Branded products…the idea being, if it’s something we believe in…we think that you will too.
Under the Salvaggio's Brand itself, we have some products we’re VERY proud of, like our coffee. What’s so special about that?? How about that our 100% Columbian coffee is grown in the exclusive Medellin region over 5,000 ft. above sea level.
THAT’S a quality bean. We buy them green and roast them in-house just before they’re bagged or sent (in bulk) to our stores…
THAT’S attention to detail.
Salvaggio's Pasta Sauces is another product that sets us apart from others on the shelf. Why?? Well, our “Old World” Marinara is more than a catchy name. It’s actually the way it’s made, and exactly the way it tastes - Imported Italian tomatoes, Italian olive oil, fresh onions, fresh garlic, fresh basil…. One thing you won’t taste is lots of sugar…. Like, it’s not on the label…..it’s not in the bottle.
Did we mention fresh??
