| | Michigan's Apple Harvest Time is HERE!
| | | | | Every year at this time, the sight of falling leaves wrestled from their branches by the cool autumn breezes trigger comforting thoughts of warm pies from the oven, chilled, sweet cider and, of course, the bounty of crisp apples to come, many from our local orchards right here in Michigan.
When you live in Michigan, apples are pretty important. As a matter of fact, they’re our state’s largest fruit cash crop, ahead of blueberries, grapes, tart cherries and peaches.
You’ll always find a good supply and variety of apples at Nino’s throughout the year, but beginning in late September and throughout the fall season, you’ll see as many as 20 different varieties in our stores, some in more than one size.
And whether you’re looking for a great apple to eat out of hand, one for a salad, a pie or even apple sauce, we’ll have just the apple to make each recipe perfect.
